Pricing Policy for cntrctrs


1. Overview

This Pricing Policy outlines the fees and payment terms for using the cntrctrs platform. By using our Services, you agree to the pricing terms described below.

Please read this policy carefully. By purchasing leads through our platform, you acknowledge that you understand and accept these terms, including the dynamic pricing model and the nature of what you are purchasing.


2. Services for Homeowners (Customers)

Free Service: Submitting service requests and receiving quotes from contractors through cntrctrs is completely free for homeowners. There are no fees for:

  • Submitting a service request (lead)
  • Receiving contact from contractors
  • Comparing contractor profiles and ratings
  • Using any informational content on the platform

Any contract for services and associated payments are made directly between you and the contractor you choose to hire. cntrctrs is not a party to such agreements and does not charge homeowners any fees.


3. Services for Contractors and Service Providers

3.1 What You Are Purchasing

When you purchase a lead through cntrctrs, you are purchasing access to contact information for a homeowner who has submitted a service request. Specifically, you receive:

  • The homeowner's name
  • Contact information (phone number and/or email address)
  • Property address or service location
  • Description of the service request
  • Any additional details provided by the homeowner

YOU ARE NOT PURCHASING:

  • A guaranteed response from the homeowner
  • A guaranteed job, contract, or revenue
  • Any commitment from the homeowner to hire you
  • Exclusivity of the homeowner's business
  • A guarantee that the homeowner will answer calls or emails

3.2 Dynamic Pricing Model

cntrctrs uses a dynamic pricing model. Lead prices are not fixed and vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to:

  • Service Type: Different services (HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, etc.) may have different price ranges based on market demand and typical project values.
  • Geographic Location: Lead prices vary by region, city, and market conditions in the service area.
  • Time Factors: Pricing may vary based on time of day, day of week, seasonality, and market demand at the time of the lead.
  • Lead Characteristics: Project scope, urgency, estimated value, and other details provided by the homeowner may influence pricing.
  • Exclusivity: Exclusive leads are priced higher than non-exclusive leads.
  • Supply and Demand: Real-time market conditions and contractor demand in the area.

Price Ranges: While we do not publish fixed prices, lead prices generally fall within market-standard ranges for home service lead generation. The exact price for each lead is displayed to you at the time of purchase, before you commit to buying.

No Price Guarantees: We do not guarantee that lead prices will remain constant or that prices for similar leads will be the same. Each lead is priced individually based on the factors described above.

3.3 Exclusive vs. Non-Exclusive Leads

When a lead becomes available, you may be offered the choice to purchase it as:

  • Exclusive Lead: You are the only contractor who receives this homeowner's contact information through our platform. No other contractor will be offered this lead. Exclusive leads are priced at a premium.
  • Non-Exclusive Lead: Multiple contractors may purchase and receive the same homeowner's contact information. Non-exclusive leads are priced lower than exclusive leads.

The availability of exclusive vs. non-exclusive options may vary by lead and is displayed at the time of purchase.

3.4 Lead Offers

Contractors receive offers to purchase leads based on their service areas, service types, and preferences. Each offer displays:

  • A summary of the service request
  • The location (general area, not exact address until purchase)
  • The price to purchase the lead
  • Whether exclusive and/or non-exclusive options are available
  • Time limit to accept the offer (if applicable)

You are under no obligation to purchase any lead. Each purchase decision is entirely at your discretion.


4. No Guarantee of Response or Results

THIS IS A CRITICAL TERM. PLEASE READ CAREFULLY.

By purchasing a lead, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • No Response Guarantee: We do NOT guarantee that the homeowner will respond to your contact attempts. Homeowners are under no obligation to answer calls, respond to emails, or engage with any contractor.
  • No Job Guarantee: We do NOT guarantee that any lead will result in a job, contract, or revenue for you. The homeowner may choose not to proceed, may hire a different contractor, or may cancel their project entirely.
  • No Exclusivity of Business: Even with an exclusive lead, the homeowner may have contacted other contractors directly, through other platforms, or through other means. "Exclusive" refers only to distribution through our platform.
  • Information Accuracy: While we strive to provide accurate information, we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or validity of information provided by homeowners. Homeowners may provide incorrect contact information, change their minds, or misrepresent their needs.
  • Lead Quality: Lead quality varies. Some leads convert to jobs; many do not. This is the nature of lead generation and is factored into our pricing.

You are purchasing contact information and the opportunity to compete for the homeowner's business—nothing more.


5. Payment Terms

5.1 Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely through our third-party payment processor (Stripe). We accept major credit cards and other payment methods as displayed during checkout.

By making a payment, you agree to be bound by the payment processor's terms of service in addition to this Pricing Policy.

5.2 Payment Timing

Lead purchases are charged at the time of purchase. You will not receive the homeowner's contact information until payment is successfully processed.

5.3 Currency

All prices are displayed and charged in US Dollars (USD) unless otherwise specified.

5.4 Credits and Prepayment

We may offer the option to purchase credits in advance to use for lead purchases. If offered:

  • Credit balances do not expire unless otherwise stated
  • Credits are non-transferable between accounts
  • Credits are non-refundable except as required by law
  • We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the credit system with reasonable notice

6. Refund Policy

6.1 General Policy

Due to the nature of lead generation services—where value is delivered immediately upon providing contact information—lead purchases are generally non-refundable.

Once you receive the homeowner's contact information, the service has been fully rendered regardless of whether the homeowner responds or whether a job results.

6.2 Limited Refund Eligibility

Refunds or account credits may be considered, at our sole discretion, only in the following limited circumstances:

  • Invalid Contact Information: The phone number is disconnected or non-existent, AND the email address bounces as undeliverable. Both must be invalid.
  • Wrong Service Area: The lead is clearly and demonstrably outside your specified service area (e.g., different state than your coverage).
  • Wrong Service Type: The lead is for a service you do not offer and have not indicated you offer (e.g., you only do HVAC and received a plumbing lead).
  • Duplicate Lead: You already purchased the same lead (same homeowner, same project) within the past 30 days.
  • Demonstrable Fraud: The lead is demonstrably fraudulent or spam (e.g., fake name, test submission, competitor abuse).

6.3 Situations That Do NOT Qualify for Refunds

The following situations do NOT qualify for refunds:

  • Homeowner does not answer the phone
  • Homeowner does not return calls or emails
  • Homeowner decides not to proceed with the project
  • Homeowner hires a different contractor
  • Homeowner obtained quotes from other sources
  • Project scope or budget differs from your expectations
  • You are unable to reach agreement with the homeowner on price
  • The homeowner cancels or postpones the project
  • You feel the lead was "low quality" or unlikely to convert
  • Market conditions, competition, or other external factors

Remember: You are purchasing contact information and opportunity, not guaranteed results.

6.4 Refund Request Process

To request a refund consideration:

  1. Submit your request within 7 days of the lead purchase
  2. Provide documentation supporting your claim (screenshots, call logs, bounce receipts, etc.)
  3. Include the lead ID and purchase details
  4. Contact us via the method specified on our website

Refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. If approved, refunds are typically issued as account credits for future lead purchases rather than monetary refunds, unless otherwise required by law.


7. Price Changes

We reserve the right to modify our pricing model, price ranges, and individual lead prices at any time without prior notice. Because pricing is dynamic, changes are inherent to the model and do not require advance notification.

The price displayed at the time you choose to purchase a lead is the price you will be charged. We recommend reviewing the price carefully before each purchase.


8. Promotional Offers

We may offer promotional pricing, free trial leads, bonus credits, or other incentives from time to time. Promotional offers:

  • Are subject to additional terms communicated with the offer
  • May be limited in duration, quantity, or eligibility
  • Cannot be combined with other offers unless explicitly stated
  • May be modified or discontinued at any time
  • Do not change the fundamental terms of this Pricing Policy

9. Taxes

Displayed prices may not include applicable taxes. You are responsible for any taxes, duties, or other governmental assessments associated with your purchases, except for taxes based on our net income.

Tax amounts, if applicable, will be calculated and displayed during the checkout process.


10. Acceptance of Terms

By purchasing a lead through cntrctrs, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to this Pricing Policy, including:

  • The dynamic pricing model
  • That you are purchasing contact information only
  • That no response, job, or revenue is guaranteed
  • The limited refund policy

If you do not agree to these terms, do not purchase leads through our platform.
